YOUR ROLE
Would you like to deliver Warehouse Management System solutions for our Global customers and work on all the phases of the application development life cycle? If so, we have the opportunity to work as our WMS Development Consultant at CEVA Logistics.
Become part of a well-equipped and balanced development team providing the most high-end and bespoke WMS solutions Contract Logistics has to offer. With over 60 (and growing) major sites in scope there are always new challenges to overcome and innovations to be developed; you’ll be part of the driving force behind that.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- You will develop and implement warehouse management solutions to enhance/improve the overall IT offering or as a direct response to requests received from the CEVA client/site.
- You will deliver run & maintain activities for Warehouse Management Systems and related applications.
- You will analyze and solve complex IT issues and take a pro-active approach to prevent issues from happening.
- You will support, manage, and develop customer relations.
- You will develop understanding of best practice/innovative solutions by working closely with the technical/professional community within this domain.
- You will use standard analytical tools and rules to determine root cause and resolve a broad range of common system or application problems.
- You will build and develop application expertise to increase quality and scalability of our strategic applications in order to promote continuous service improvement.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You have operational experience in a warehousing environment.
- You are technology/domain driven.
- You have strong JDA Dispatcher WMS skills.
- You have experience as an application specialist or super user in the supply chain domain.
- You have knowledge of SQL and/or Linux OS with a keen interest to learn more.
- You have good troubleshooting and analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple complex problems.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
