Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Sales Representative to drive the growth of our private duty home care services by identifying and securing new client opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the healthcare sector and excel in client-facing interactions. This role involves building relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing solutions that align with our care services. Collaboration between multiple departments and services areas of the company is required and as such, this position is an office-based position when not visiting providers or potential clients. Local travel throughout the Metro Detroit area is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for private duty home care services. This includes networking with healthcare professionals, attending community events, and utilizing various lead generation strategies.
- Client Consultations: Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients and their families to assess their needs and provide tailored recommendations for home care services.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including doctors, hospitals, senior living communities, and act as an influencer to drive referrals and partnerships.
- Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our services.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to effectively position our services and identify growth opportunities.
- Service Coordination: Collaborate with our care coordination team to ensure a seamless transition for new clients and provide ongoing support to address any concerns or adjustments needed.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, client feedback, and market trends to inform strategy and improve service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare or home care sector.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Solid understanding of healthcare services, particularly home care, and the unique needs of individuals requiring private duty care.
- Client-Facing Skills: Proven ability to engage with clients and families in a professional and empathetic manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Sales Skills: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building client relationships. Ability to effectively present and negotiate service agreements.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
