EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR SALES MANAGER-DESIGN CONSULTANT:
- Coach and counsel your sales associates
- Meet daily with your sales team
- Offer them the advice, support, motivation, or information they need in order to help them meet their sales objectives
- Supervise the sales floor
- Ensure your salespeople are doing everything they should be doing to successfully sell
- Responsible for ensuring that the sales floor operations function smoothly
- Work directly with customers and employees across all departments
- Assist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations
- Work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses
- Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs
- Help locate or obtain merchandise for customers
- Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers
- Knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products; use excellent customer relations.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR SALES MANAGER-DESIGN CONSULTANT:
Ability to lift merchandise of 20lbs; sales experience required; excellent Storis knowledge required; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
Work Environment: Works in an indoor, climate-controlled environment.
