As a Lead Business Analyst, you will collaborate with product owners, technical architects, and developers to create innovative business systems. This individual is responsible for bridging the gap between development, design, and product management by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating concise requirements for implementation based on business needs. Operating in an Agile environment, the Senior Business Analyst will utilize analytical and problem-solving skills and leverage CRM capabilities to deliver optimal solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with various technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand complex business processes and define business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into concise, feasible, and verifiable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Interact with the development and testing teams to communicate and validate requirements.
- Maintain and prioritize user story backlog.
- Work closely with business stakeholders on roadmap creation and own roadmap maintenance.
- Support the solutioning process by developing competencies in various technology platforms.
- Produce and decipher complex technical use cases, user stories, process flows, diagraming, data analysis, data mapping, interfaces, reporting and testing activities on web and hosted technologies.
- Develop functional documentation such as use cases, functional specifications, reports, and screen prototypes.
- Conduct system demonstrations for stakeholder feedback and validation.
- Conduct training and develop end-user documentation as required.
- Contribute to an Agile environment and apply best practices through cross-functional collaboration.
- Based on your experiences and interests, we may ask you as a technology professional to support growth-related activities, including (but not limited to) RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations. Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications necessary for their practice expertise.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced application development environment.
- 5+ years recent experience working in an Agile development environment as a business analyst (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience facilitating requirements gathering, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, capturing client requirements and feedback.
- US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).
- Must be able to obtain Secret clearance.
- MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in business analysis with CRM end-to-end implementations or Custom Application Development is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- Good working knowledge of the Scaled Agile methodology.
- Agile/Scrum Master Certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of a data modeling tool (Visio, Axure, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Appian or Salesforce preferred.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $92,986.00 - $158,076.00
