As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Banner Medical Imaging, you'll work alongside a group of technologists determined to provide a positive experience for patients receiving medical imaging services. You will perform Nuclear Medicine exams, including injecting, scanning, and therapies.

- Greeley Imaging Center - 2001 70th Ave, Suite 102, Greeley, CO 80634
SCHEDULE/SHIFTS:
- Part Time 20 Hours a week
- 6:00am - 4:30pm
DAY IN THE LIFE:
- This technologist will be working PET/CT.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position performs prescribed procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring optimal care/treatment to the patient population.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
- Performs nuclear medicine procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders.
- Educates patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatments to be performed.
- Produces high-quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
- Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures.
- Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements.
- Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice.
- Assures the efficient operation of workflow in the department.
- Independently performs prescribed procedures in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Board and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or equivalent and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification required. This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
