We are looking for an experienced infusion RN to join our team Per Diem! We are based in St. Paul and recently opened a new branch in Rochester. We are looking for great additions to our Rochester team so we can continue to expand. The infusion nurse is responsible for quality, adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff. They are responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and the standards of quality are adhered to. Come work as many or as few hours as you want with nights, days, weekends, and holidays available. This position is per diem based on your availability as infusions and injections are offered on various schedules and timelines based on treatment and Plan of Care. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a flexible schedule. $70 for 1 hour visit, $50 for the first two hours of a visit lasting longer than 2 hours then $45 an hour thereafter. We do offer mileage pay, but that is on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within the scope of state’s nurse practice act.
- Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
- Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
- Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
- Counsel the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
- Complete all visit documentation in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN license in Minnesota.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.
- Minimum 1 year experience on your license.
- Reliable car/auto insurance.
- Clean background and criminal record.
- Understand regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
- Experience preferred: Peripheral IV starts/maintenance & IV Infusion Therapy Injection and self-infusion training, Phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients, CVAD experience & knowledge, Advanced Nursing Certifications (CRNI, OCN preferred).
