About the role:
In this role you will partner with business leaders across the G&A organization to achieve corporate financial goals. You will perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic decisions, and be responsible for annual planning and reporting. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will:
- Be a Finance business partner for the G&A organization, focusing on budget management, forecasting, data-driven analysis, and headcount planning to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop scalable processes and systems to improve financial visibility, control, and planning effectiveness through collaboration with accounting and business teams.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 4+ years of experience in Corporate Finance/Big 4 Accounting.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong accounting knowledge with experience working closely with accounting teams.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting through Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to senior management.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Prior experience using NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, Adaptive Planning and Tableau is a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP cash flow and cash metrics.
Salary Range: The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is $93,415 — $125,600 USD. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
