Investment Advisor - Counselor
As an Investment Advisor - Counselor at our esteemed financial institution, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their financial journeys. This position involves close collaboration with internal teams and direct interaction with clients to provide tailored investment solutions. With a focus on building lasting relationships, you will guide clients through market intricacies, investment strategies, and periodic reviews to ensure alignment with their long-term financial objectives.
Compensation: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forge and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining an in-depth understanding of their financial aspirations and requirements.
- Educate clients on investment strategies and portfolio options based on thorough market analysis and the latest financial trends.
- Regularly review client portfolios and conduct asset allocation assessments to ensure optimal balance and alignment with financial goals.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and research teams to gather insights that inform investment decisions and strategy recommendations.
- Initiate proactive communication with clients, scheduling quarterly meetings to discuss their portfolios' performance, market developments, and potential adjustments.
- Continuously update personal knowledge of market conditions, new financial products, and investment opportunities.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience as an investment advisor or similar role with direct client interaction.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and portfolio management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in understandable terms.
- Demonstrable ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Current registration as an Investment Adviser or ability to obtain required licenses within a specified period.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or similar professional certification.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Familiarity with CRM software and investment management systems.
- Experience in high-value client relations and portfolio management exceeding $1M assets under management.
- Track record of successfully meeting/exceeding client retention and satisfaction metrics.
- Multilingual abilities to cater to a diverse client base.
