Description
SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst to work fully onsite at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The Program Analyst will support the Army Futures Command, Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) to assess the threat and future operational environment, develop future concepts, requirements, and an integrated modernization pathway to increase lethality and overmatch to enable Soldiers and units to compete—and, if necessary—deploy, fight, and win future wars.
The Program Analyst will work with the FCC’s Futures Integration Directorate (FID) Divisions to develop and/or review charts, graphs and monitoring of requirements that support Future Capabilities functions throughout the requirements process to ensure positive outcomes through thorough review and presentation.
The Program Analyst will:
- Analyze and review capability and requirements documents to ensure processes have been followed and all required information is contained within the packages in accordance with defined standards.
- Review extensive documents and package to identify missing or potentially inadequate documentation that could potentially impact the requirement from moving through processes.
- Coordinate needed changes or obtain necessary information from the appropriate sources to ensure complete document sets.
- Modify documents or records as appropriate and with coordination.
- Ensure rules and regulations for the particular document set are followed.
- Be responsible for assignment of accurate documentation into the Government computer systems with a minimum 97% accuracy.
- Identify and abstract information from capability and requirements documents (paper or electronic) for special studies and audits, internal and external.
- Interact with AFC and FCC staff to ensure documentation is clear and supports assignments. Educate staff through individual or group in-services and training sessions.
- Maintain a delinquency report of missing records in order to facilitate completion of work within the required thresholds.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years' experience serving in a U.S. military/defense agency as a military member or civilian, or experience serving within a government organization in progressively responsible staff positions is required.
- Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent computer/communication skills for provider and staff interactions.
- Knowledge of the requirements process, capability development, Joint Capabilities and Integration Development Systems (JCIDS) requirements, familiarity with the capability and requirements review board processes and submission experience.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office suite applications, record management.
- Expertise in technical writing and editing.
Desired:
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree (AA) in technology-related subjects, English, journalism or technical writing is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- US citizenship.
