Amazon’s Prime Video is an on-demand video entertainment service offering premium original programming, an extensive selection of licensed library, and the opportunity for customers to aggregate their additional video subscriptions in one place. Our service spans over 240 countries, where it is critical PV's app is accessible in both our customers' living rooms and their mobile devices.
We are looking for a Sr Financial Analyst to play a critical role in the Prime Video 3P Device Partnership team. This role will partner with 3P DP marketing and business development teams to track key performance metrics and provide actionable insights. The role is highly commercial and analytical in focus, leveraging data-driven insights to drive short and long-term device strategies to improve customer experience. This person will also support several ad hoc analyses and reporting needs for the 3P DP finance team. The ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They must be comfortable performing detailed, complicated analysis and communicating findings to stakeholders in a clear, efficient manner that highlights the most relevant points to the business’ strategy.
Key job responsibilities
- Report on the financial and business performance and lead the weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews with senior management.
- Ensure robust controllership and audit through monthly performance and budget reviews versus plan.
- Lead ad hoc financial analyses and develop new performance metrics and improve existing processes to drive insight, accountability, and control.
- Drive cross-team analytic projects for senior management, with financial modeling, data mining and presentation support.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos or Essbase), SQL and Data warehouse
- Advanced Excel and analysis skills
- Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with internal customers
- Must show evidence of using data to inform decisions.
- Must have a demonstrable track record of delivering results.
- Demonstrate work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
- Must demonstrate fluency in the English language both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, communication and persuasion skills
- Successful in an ambiguous environment
- Comfortable with tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Superior attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
