What you will do
As a Part-Time FP&A Analyst, you will be a key member of the Instruments Divisional FP&A team supporting our US Shared Divisional Functions (e.g. R&D, Finance, HR, etc.) and providing division-level support to our business units. You will be working directly for the Divisional FP&A finance Sr. Manager, and general responsibilities will include the following:
- Finance business partnership for the Instruments R&D functions
- Drive accountability and accuracy in the Instruments R&D financial results and projections
- Identify and implement key business process changes to improve the R&D projects sales forecasting
- Develop monthly reporting for the R&D function that is both useful and insightful for R&D leadership
- Assist the shared service function in its month-end close process
- Assist the Instruments compliance function with respect to account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews as necessary
- Assist the Instruments FP&A function in developing reporting for month-end reporting as needed
- Key contributor in Division-wide FP&A projects (e.g. Headcount Reporting, Inventory Reporting, etc.)
- Ad hoc requests from leadership as necessary
