Accounts Receivable Specialist
Our well-known Portland client seeks an experienced AR Specialist to join their accounting team! The ideal candidate is process-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys complex problem-solving.
This is a remote role available to candidates within a commutable distance to Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Review, research, and post daily cash/check transactions.
- Process wire transfers and cash receipts.
- Respond to customer inquiries.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications
- At least 2 years of AR and cash application experience in a high-volume environment.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field highly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a paperless environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle or similar) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
- Prior Adobe experience and able to learn new systems/functions quickly.
- Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
