Responsibilities:
The Nightwing High Consequence Missions (HCM) Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of the P&L for a $0.5B business, including forecasting, planning, workforce management, adherence and compliance, and governance to NIGHTWING policies and procedures.
- Assisting in the capture of new business and developing cost strategies to support successful captures.
- Interfacing across all levels and functions within the organization to drive business performance.
- Assisting in developing effective strategies for the business, including program execution optimization and new business capture.
- Maintaining strong communication with the HCM business leader and functional leadership.
- Understanding and managing costs across the organization to maximize efficiencies, including alternative business models and concepts as appropriate.
- Analyzing trends and benchmarks against other NIGHTWING businesses and industry standards.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience.
- At least 5 years of experience managing a staff of employees.
- Previous experience managing a P&L or suite of programs.
- Current and active TS/SCI clearance.
- Understanding of CAS and FAR.
- Demonstrated ability to understand risk & opportunity management.
- Working knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines within financial and operational organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence upper levels of management and work across the organization to achieve results.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions to create opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relations with internal and external customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a team capable of offering analytical insights that drive business decisions and results.
- Capable of working within a highly matrix organization requiring corporate and business unit teamwork.
- Knowledge of government contract accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
- Process improvement champion with six sigma certification.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Knowledge of SAP and Costpoint functionality and ability to utilize the system to its fullest capabilities.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related field. MBA, CPA, and CMA are preferred.

Salary Range: 158,000 USD - 316,000 USD
