ABOUT THE ROLEThe Internal Auditor I performs audits for assigned areas of operations, including financial, operational, and compliance audits, in accordance with acceptable audit standards and within stipulated schedules and budgets.
Essential Functions
- Perform audit engagements and review organizational and functional activities to ensure risks are appropriately identified, associated audit procedures are applied, and related controls are designed and operating to mitigate identified risks.
- Enact thorough and practical knowledge of audit methodology techniques.
- Lead discussions to obtain detailed understanding of business or functional area processes, systems, and applications.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports.
- Perform annual SOX 404 testing; validate and communicate process controls effectivity.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Assist in the audit review process.
- Serve colleagues and management in a professional and effective manner.
- Pursue professional certifications and related educational requirements.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location.
- Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if applicable.
ABOUT YOUQualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in auditing, accounting, finance, risk, banking or business consulting role(s) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related discipline is required.
- Must be capable of up to 25% travel (e.g. 1 week or 5 days/month) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.

- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.

- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly.
