2024 Account Manager - Pro-Tech Solutions
Role: We are seeking an Account Manager for our Pro-Tech Solutions sales team, which is a division of Control Associates. She/He will drive business growth within new and established accounts across multiple industries. The Account Manager will bridge technical, interpersonal, and business domains to set a vision and collaborate to develop and deliver products, services, and integrated solutions to meet that vision. If you have an inquisitive nature, and a desire to grow the business through selling mutually beneficial business outcomes, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the external customer relationships selling our measurement instrumentation products and services portfolio through a consultative approach.
- Develop and execute account plans to grow our portfolio within named accounts.
- Proactively network and build strong relationships with key client stakeholders, decision makers, and influencers.
- Develop and execute pursuit strategies to win.
- Create and maintain sales forecasts and opportunity pipeline through use of CRM tool.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all our products and services within our Pro-Tech Solutions portfolio.
- Engage directly with clients through onsite visits within the Tri-State area.
- Organize, coordinate, and support customer seminars.
- Drive company, team, and individual goals.
- Normal Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Prerequisites:
- 4+ years of experience within our served industries in an engineering, operations, or sales capacity.
- BS/BA degree in a discipline that supports a technical knowledge of the business, an Engineering concentration is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with decision makers.
- Problem Solver, able to uncover the true root cause, and have an open-minded approach to create a solution.
- Strategic thinker with a propensity to connect technologies to business outcomes and to anticipate the emerging needs of customers.
- Results driven, a professional who has consistently exceeded goals.
- Must have excellent communications, interpersonal, organization, and time management skills; this is a client-facing role.
- Experience working in a team environment while providing individual contributions and leading through influence.
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite expertise with Advanced Excel and CRM experience.
