The Accounts Receivable manager is responsible for overseeing the billing, collection, and reconciliation of customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate cash flow, and minimizing bad debts. The accounts receivable manager also supervises and trains the accounts receivable staff, maintains, and updates the accounts receivable policies and procedures, and liaises with internal and external stakeholders. This position will drive and report on achievement of performance metrics specific for Accounts Receivable. This position will report to the Global Controller.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable department, including invoicing, cash application, credit control, and dispute resolution.
- Monitor and analyze the accounts receivable aging reports, identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies, and ensure compliance with the company's credit policies.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounts receivable reports, reconciliations, and journal entries, and provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the accounts receivable processes, systems, and controls, and ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate the performance of the accounts receivable staff, and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, sales, customer service, and other departments, and handle any escalated issues or inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, and maintain proper documentation and records.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards, especially related to accounts receivable and revenue recognition.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, and ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least five years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a managerial role.
- ERP experience required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $115,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
