Overview
Texas Capital Bank is seeking a Client Service Officer “CSO” as part of Treasury Operations. This role is primarily to provide exceptional service and support to our customers across all lines of business. The CSO will build in-depth understanding of the client’s organization, business priorities, culture and operating model and determine how best to leverage TCBs products and capabilities to continuously add value to the client. Many of the services the candidate will assist with are Lockbox, Cash Vault, Online Wire transfers, ACH payments, Treasury Information Reporting, and other Commercial Treasury products.
Responsibilities
- A trusted member of the client team and deeply connected to deliver the growth and success of an assigned portfolio.
- Lead end-to-end onboarding and maintenance activities for new and existing clients. Act with a sense of urgency and exceed expectations often by over-communicating.
- Provide exceptional client service and flawless execution on client requests.
- Take ownership of client escalations (e.g., technology and service issues) and collaborate with operational and internal teams to ensure effective resolution.
- Engage professionally in person, via email, and on the phone to assist with every client need or issue.
- Maintain diligent awareness of risk to recognize fraudulent transactions.
- Enforce banking policies and procedures to ensure operational integrity while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Identify and document new business opportunities for referral to banker or product specialist.
- Independently review all entity documents, open and link accounts as needed.
- Seek process improvements and generate innovative ideas to streamline processes/transactions. Demonstrate the ability to work in an agile environment.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of banking, treasury products and services.
- Excellent client facing service experience and problem resolution skills making our clients feel valued and supported.
- Exhibit a positive, can-do attitude with inquisitive curiosity.
- Change ready, understands the evolving nature of the industry and the need to keep pace.
- Strong background and interest in the fields of operations and compliance.
- Interpersonal and team building skills. Ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with various groups including sales, service, operations, compliance, and marketing.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality with respect to the firm and the client.
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Capability to problem solve and analyze data with demonstration of attention to detail.
- Ability to evaluate client portfolios and identify solutions and/or sales recommendations.
- Proficiency and aptitude in utilizing systems, MS Office/Windows, Salesforce, web based and other desktop applications.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred.
- Relevant 5-7 years of experience (at minimum) in the financial services industry preferred.
