T2 Utility Engineers is seeking a Finance System Administrator/Analyst to support our North American Operations. Flexible with location for the right candidate.
T2 Utility Engineers specializes in providing reliable underground and above-ground utility information to reduce the risks that utilities present for infrastructure projects. T2ue helps clients manage the complexity of existing utilities with our professional and comprehensive Subsurface Utility Engineering, Utility Coordination, and Surveying services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, developing and maintaining our Finance/Accounting system (BST), including all related applications and system integrations. This role will apply technical principles and concepts to perform system administration functions such as report workflows and assistance for business users, system upgrades, database backup, deployments, troubleshooting and monitoring of the operational status of the systems.
Responsibilities
- Finance systems support and analysis
- SQL database administration
- Work with business functions such as Finance, Marketing and Project Managers on the development and integration of external API's and process scripts
- Application development/troubleshooting/maintenance (.NET, MS Visual Studio, SSRS, C++)
- Develop reports using business intelligence tools (SAP Crystal Reports, Power BI)
- Respond to data requests from management using ad-hoc SQL queries
- Modify and develop BST invoice masks using SAP Crystal Reports
- Support applications deployed on SharePoint
- Monitor system performance and processes, troubleshoot performance issues, investigate critical system errors, capture traces, and analyze logs
- Lead the evaluation, escalation and resolution of issues, and interact with vendors for service and support as needed
- Manage regular system updates, learn new features and/or new functions with each update
- Participate in the planning, design, documentation, implementation and testing in support of business systems/applications and integrations
- Support end-users with all aspects of application functionality
- Develop reports and dashboards for Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and Project Managers
- Perform training for PM's and New Hires
- Proactively gather information on application usability and functionality from end-users
- Coordinate with Department Managers to streamline workflows
- Develop a system user access level manual, and oversee BST security and access, including creating and maintaining user accounts and security roles
- Develop database data entry standard manual to guide clean database input to ensure clean data output
- Prepare and report on metrics for system usage and other data necessary for system maintenance and audit purposes
- Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years providing systems analyst support for a finance/accounting system, preferably at an AEC firm.
- 3+ years of development experience in SQL
- 3+ years of experience developing applications in C++ for .NET deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science or a related field
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- 2-5 years in accounting or finance preferred
- Experience supporting BST preferred
- SAP Crystal Reports experience
- MS SharePoint and Power BI development experience
- Ability to work both as a team member as well as independently
- Exceptional client-service skills
- Demonstrated written and oral English language skills and ability to communicate ideas effectively
