Accounts Receivable Posting Clerk - Position Overview:
- The Accounts Receivable Posting Clerk team member posts third party and private pay payments in PCC.
- Manage cash receipt spreadsheet and balance to the bank daily.
Responsibilities
- Scan any third party or private pay checks that are received at the EAS office on a daily basis.
- Post all receipted payments in PCC to the appropriate resident/miscellaneous account.
- Update cash/bank log on a daily basis and balance to the bank.
- At month end, assist with entering ancillary charges.
- At month end, balance all payments posted in PCC to the bank.
- Special projects or assigned duties as needed under the direction of supervisor.
Qualifications
- Accurate and efficient typing skills, data entry experience on IBM P/C compatible system required.
- High school degree or equivalent (GED).
- High school level math skills, experience in cash and checking account reconciliation necessary.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Personal qualities of trustworthiness and integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Pleasing personality and ability to effectively handle contact with clients, staff and public.
- Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence.
- This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
