The Sr. Business Analyst, Global Financial Systems (GFS) will assist the Contract to Order (C2O) Product Manager in efforts across the enterprise to ensure proper alignment with GFS guidelines, technology and infrastructure. This role will collaborate on various projects supporting GFS with global stakeholders on the implementation of a new enterprise billing system and transformation of billing processes as well Go-To-Market standardization.
The Sr. Business Analyst will report to C2O Product Manager & Transformation Lead on a hybrid office schedule - 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) at the Equifax HQ in Midtown, 2 days (Mon. & Fri.) remotely and have the ability to work completely remote for 2 weeks each year.
What You’ll Do:
Transformation: (50%)
Build strong partnership and collaborate with the GFS C2O Product Team and with the Business C2O Team to drive transformation
Work cross functionally with the C2O Product Manager, Product Owners, Business Leads and Architects to understand requirements and desired outputs.
Track status across features and communicate risks or concerns as they arise.
Assist with the contract analysis and contract entry per Business Unit in C2O to ensure all required functionality is being delivered with input from the business and the C2O Product Manager, the analyst has the responsibility to build, prune, and maintain the team backlog.
Assist with C2O Data Migration working closely with Technology and the Business to identify requirements and elaborate them into user stories for implementation. The analyst works closely with the business aiding and contributing to user story development and acceptance criteria.
Assist GFS and the Business during C2O Data Migration test cycles, and change request creation
Review current and proposed business operations, including financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other metrics
Communicate findings and help implement changes to stakeholders throughout the business hierarchy
Support business transition and help establish change
Monitor timelines and manage assigned projects to meet deadlines and GFS guidelines and provide status updates for business unit initiatives as assigned
Reporting: (50%)
Responsible for enabling data stored within the Product(C2O) to be reportable in Tableau for each region's stakeholders across the world
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and define the product's main features. Act as a spokesperson for the business, sharing knowledge and answering questions
Gather reporting feature requests, scheduling releases, and coordinating sprints
Manage the product backlog, which is a to-do list that prioritizes features to develop
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Project Management or equivalent experience
Minimum 3+ years of work experience in Data Analytics, Business Operations, or Finance
Reporting, analysis and data visualization skills
Ability to create and deliver concise, relevant, strategically-driven documents and presentations for project leaders.
Excellent prioritization skills to handle multiple projects concurrently; to function in a fast-paced, high growth environment with tight production deadlines
Forward thinking and creative problem-solving initiative to recognize potential risk, issues and to cultivate solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams
Experience generating process documentation.
Knowledge and experience with the Agile Scrum process.
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word are required.
Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
