The pay for this position ranges from $100,000 - $120,000.
Summary:
- The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting compensation administration and implementation for the organization's various compensation programs. This includes areas related to compensation requirements, including position descriptions and evaluations, salary administration, conducting compensation analyses and heavily involved with LTIP plan administration. This position will assist with implementation of compensation programs, helping translate strategy into results and reports to the Director, Total Rewards.
Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with business leaders, HR colleagues and Talent Acquisition teams to advise on FuelCell Energy’s compensation philosophy.
- Completes and maintains salary survey data by compiling, organizing, and submitting data on a timely basis.
- Coordinates data for market analysis to ensure up to date market information for management to perform annual reviews and frequent pricing of jobs.
- Evaluates the organizations jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions. Responds to inquiries and issues involving compensation, market competitiveness, job leveling, and job description maintenance and development. Ensures compliance with FLSA.
- Executes on core process to include the support of the annual merit increase process and annual performance review cycle. Partners with HRBP’s and Payroll departments to plan the process and ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently without errors.
- Maintains and enhances a database for accessing compensation information and associated job descriptions.
- Supports analysis of salary data and job evaluations to ensure market competitiveness across job locations and departments.
- Creates offer options in collaboration with our Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner teams for external candidates and internal employee movement.
- Responds to internal audit inquiries and provides documentation as needed.
- Updates and maintains LTIP monthly and adhoc reports for Executive Leadership review and approval.
- Assists in proxy statement creation and distribution.
- Runs scenario planning reports and analysis for various compensation plan objectives and strategies.
- Maintains all SuccessFactors compensation training and reference materials.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or Business-related field.
- 3 - 5 years of human resources, financial analysis or compensation related experience.
- Experience applying mathematical concepts to processes and procedures.
- Experience working on Stock plans and LTIP administration experience required.
- Experience with Microsoft tools and applications.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive compliance-related matters.
- Proven customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail when managing concurrent deadlines/priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (SuccessFactors a plus).
