Description
SAIC is looking for a Construction Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This position is responsible for helping manage, execute, and track numerous construction projects happening throughout the Enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of Government acquisition, construction, and the back-office activities necessary for a successful construction project. To qualify for this role, you must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
SAIC provides full-service facility management support to a major organization in the Intelligence Community. We conduct end-to-end project management as well as facility engineering and master planning functions for locations throughout the world. At the HQ-level, we perform all manner of planning, programming, and execution oversight for a portfolio in the hundreds of millions per year.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the responsible party to collect and distribute all construction-related records, documents, and information relating to a construction project.
- Ensure that construction-related documents are properly recorded and are complete.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress during all stages of construction.
- Prepare progress reports and provide technical assistance.
- Develop formalized written procedures for processing documentation so that all parties understand their respective roles, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Collect, collate, and ensure distribution of construction meeting minutes, design review documents, construction evaluations, commissioning testing results, and logs to the appropriate parties.

Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
- High school diploma/GED.
- 3 years’ experience in strategic project and program management with IC, NRO, DoD or 6 years in Commercial Industry.
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Experience with tools, techniques, operations, and procedures for managing construction projects of all sizes and types.
- Basic knowledge of the many construction skill trades.
- Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural field.
- Experience with MS Project or similar.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
