What you will do:
- Responsible for leveraging SAS Customer Intelligence solutions to design real-time customer experiences and deployment strategies
- Deploy, install, and administer SAS technologies on client infrastructure including on-prem and cloud environments
- Advise on and develop technology and implementations roadmaps and play a key leadership role in strategic decisions
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of client’s digital marketing strategy, business model, and data environment
- Recommend and develop implementation and testing strategies based on channel-specific best practices and customer insights
- Lead discovery workshops to gather requirements, identify gaps, and present solutions with supportive documentation
- Provide subject matter expertise and critical thinking for the greater project to align with the clients’ environment and industry best practices
Requirements:
What you need to succeed:
- University degree in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering or other relevant fields focused on information technologies
- Advanced SQL Knowledge: Experience in writing complex SQL queries and understanding relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, ETLs, cloud data architecture, data architecture principles
- An understanding of microservices and API integrations (REST)
- Experience with administration of Linux or UNIX based systems and comfort with Linux CLI and editing files in VI
- Understanding of cloud computing, containers, and Kubernetes, and security best practices
- Understanding of general networking principles including firewalls and IP
- Proficiency in either Java or Python
- Consulting and Communication Skills: Ability to understand client needs, manage multiple projects, and communicate technical concepts effectively, both verbally and written, in English
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Willingness to travel, if required, for client meetings, workshops, and project implementations
Good to have:
- French proficiency is advantageous
- Good knowledge of Web technologies including HTML and CSS
- Experience with Groovy and Lua programming
- Understanding of real-time integrations, including streaming data and analytics with technologies like Kafka
- Web Analytics Experience: Proficiency in web analytics tools (like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to analyze and report on website traffic and user behavior
- 1+ years of experience working with marketing technology platforms (SAS CI, SFMC, Adobe Target, etc.)
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS): Familiarity with popular CMS platforms (like WordPress, Drupal, etc.) to manage web content and integrate digital marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of digital marketing technologies and an understanding of how different platforms work together to deliver personalization at scale
- Experience in conducting client workshops, training sessions, and presentations
- Experience with SAS Viya and SAS RTDM would be considered strong assets
