The role of the Member Solutions Representative is to handle a wide variety of credit and collection functions. This can involve credit sources, credit files, member applications, and delinquent payments. They may provide assistance to members on budget counseling, consolidations, loan extensions, payment methods, and other areas related to our member’s financial needs. Our Member Solutions Representative will complete skip tracing on loan accounts and advise members of their options. They will research and prepare documentation and letters as necessary. These representatives must be comfortable with contacting members to determine the reasons for delinquency, assisting them in developing plans to bring accounts to a current status, collecting on delinquent accounts, and/or determining when to compromise and settle balances and when to initiate foreclosure or repossession proceedings.
A Day in the Life of a MEMBER SOLUTIONS REPRESENTATIVE INCLUDES:
- Answering telephone calls in a courteous and timely manner and transferring calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining orderly files on each account with attention to complete and accurate detailing of all problems or correspondence.
- Contacting members to determine the reasons for delinquency and to assist them in developing plans to bring accounts to a current status.
- Conducting investigations to locate missing debtors and/or collateral.
- Preparing forms, form letters, reports, and correspondence for collection purposes.
MEMBER SOLUTIONS REPRESENTATIVE Skills and qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of similar or related experience to include Customer Service in a financial institution. Consumer Lending experience preferred.
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills.
- Proficient knowledge in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong negotiation or organizational skills are a must.

- Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Some night and weekend shifts are available.

- Travel is not necessary for this position.
- Work Site Location:
- All work will be performed at our beautiful Corporate Campus located at 2675 O’Neal Lane in Baton Rouge, LA.
