$55,000 to $65,000 annually (based on experience) + Benefits
Work is on-site - Monday through Friday - 40 to 45 hours per week

The Human Resources Generalist will manage HR policies and procedures, employee benefits administration, and daily HR-related tasks such as full cycling recruiting, learning and development, and employee assessment process. The newly remodeled offices create a welcoming and functional environment for the 240 employees and their clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviews and documents compliance for training, continuing education, and work assessments
- Recruits and facilitates the hiring of job applicants for open positions
- Conducts background checks and other verifications
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to employee benefits, FMLA, ADA, and engagement and retention
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency with learning the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
- Conflict resolution
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Education and Experience:
- Two years of HR experience required
- Experience in a not-for-profit is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, BA, or related field required
- Employee Benefits expertise, including benefits administration
