Responsibilities
Job Summary
As a Rehabilitation RN, you will collaborate daily with physicians, therapists, and case managers to achieve the best outcome for patients who have experienced life-altering events. In this role, you will ensure appropriate plans of care are developed and implemented to meet patient needs for rehabilitation.
Area of Focus
- Working with patients who are receiving rehab for the following reasons:
- Stroke
- Brain injuries
- Pulmonary Hypertension
- Brain Tumor or Cancer
- Patients could also have trachs, feed tubes, VAD, or need wound care.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
- BLS required from American Heart Association.
- Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited nursing program.
