Our client is seeking a successful Manager for their Outpatient Psych department to take a great unit to new heights of patient care.
- Responsible for the overall leadership, management, service coordination, and operations of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services and Inpatient Professional Behavioral Health Services provided by the Department of Psychiatry.
- Responsibilities include management of the psychiatric consult and liaison service, the outpatient psychiatry clinic, inpatient and the regional integrated behavioral health practitioners employed by the department of psychiatry working in regional sites.
- Manager for the Outpatient Psychiatric service includes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care to psychiatry clinic patients seen in both BMG regional sites and the outpatient location.
- The manager is responsible for outpatient departmental operations, leadership of the front-line staff, collaborative planning with senior management, and budget creation for more than 6 psychiatric cost centers.
- The manager will participate in providing leadership in departmental meetings and relevant workgroups.
- The manager will be responsible for working with leadership, providers and staff on continued performance improvement and the achievement of organizational goals.
The manager will complete additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Director.
- Responsible for a minimum 17 Providers (including advanced practice clinicians, 12 Therapists, 14 support staff.
- Responsible for stewardship and planning for 6 psychiatric cost centers with an overall operating budget of $3 million dollars
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role such as clinical supervisor, program/practice manager, team leader, finance manager.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health environment
- Master\'s degree may substitute for 1 year of experience
