Skills:
- Understanding of Upper Extremity and Hand treatments.
- Understanding of Pediatric Treatment
- Understanding of Neurological Treatments
- Manual Therapy
- Knowledge of OT stretches and exercises
- Solid knowledge of anatomy
- Physical strength and stamina
- Ability to lift patients and help them move
- Ability to read and execute detailed instructions
- Recommending Modifications of Treatment to Occupational Therapist
- Knowledge of how to progress treatment

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Perform Treatment sessions with patients
- Ensure patients and/or caregivers are educated and aware of their condition and prognosis
- Explaining Exercises and Therapies to Patients
- Keep patients accountable for therapy attendance and compliance with their plan of care.
- Complete all required documentation of each visit
- Updating plan of care as needed and discharging patients as needed under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
- Following therapist's plan of care and communicating with the therapist regarding care
- Supervising Therapy Technicians
- Listening to and recording patient successes
- Interacting with Patients of Different Ages, Races, and Socio-Economic Backgrounds
- Keeping Case management lists up to date.
- Assisting in Marketing efforts as requested by the Marketing department
- Keeping track of individual stats and completing productivity reports.
