We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (Industrial Hygienist 4) to join our Southern California team! The successful hire will be a Certified Asbestos Consultant with 7+ years of asbestos & lead project management experience.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of proposals and reports (detailing survey/project information including methodology, results and recommendations) and report review.
- Client interface/management.
- Project management.
- Management/mentoring of staff.
- Field work (e.g., conduct asbestos/lead-based paint surveys, monitoring) if needed.
- Project invoicing/AR management.
- Implement Atlas' Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Health Science, Environmental Health, or related field.
- Other degrees will be considered provided relevant experience is demonstrated.
- 10+ years of professional experience related to asbestos and lead.
- At least 7+ years of project management experience.
Technical Requirements:
- California Division of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC).
- California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Lead Related Construction Inspector/Assessor.
- California DPH Lead Related Construction Project Monitor.
- NIOSH 582 Course Completion.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is a plus.
- Current 40-Hour Hazwoper Certification is a plus.
- Preparation of technical cost estimates, proposals and report writing/review.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Knowledge of Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPS), South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1403, California Lead Laws/Regulations, etc.
Other miscellaneous qualities:
- Ability to travel, approximately 10% of the time.
- Ability to work independently but also within a collaborative team environment.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Exhibits attention to detail, and able to work under periodic time constraints.
Compensation:
$115K - $130K Annual Salary
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
