Neonatal Nurse Practitioner HOURLY and SIGN ON $$$

Southeastern Missouri (Minutes from St. Louis and a short distance from Memphis!)

Our client is a decorated not for profit health system serving a five state region.

Their flagship hospital has over 300 licensed beds and has won multiple awards for clinical and customer service.

They have an immediate opening due to a staff member relocating to the south for personal reasons.

Under the direction of the Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner delivers speciaity care with a high degree of expertise in perinatal and neonatal health by formulating a plan based on assessment, examination, and selected diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice. Provides leadership for the health care team by collaborating with physicians, nursing, case manager, and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure high quality, comprehensive care is delivered. Has a collaborative practice agreement with the Neonatologist.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma:

Master's Degree

Additional Educational Requirements:

Graduate of an approved Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Program for Neonatal Nurses.

Certification/License Title:

Current license and credentialed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Neonatal Nurse in the State of Missouri or eligible.

Additional Certification/Licensure Requirements:

Current BLS CRP, NRP, and NRP Instructor certifications required.

Years of Experience:

Two (2) years

Additional Skills & Experience Requirements:

Requires a minimum of two (2) years experience in neonatal nursing.
Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
