Job Responsibilities:
- Performs quality diagnostic procedures in general radiology and computed tomography.
- Respects ALARA standards and displays working knowledge of job requirements.
- Provide support to Community Memorial Hospital through gathering registration information, answering phones, greeting, and directing patients.
- Adapt to changes in job requirements and the work environment.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals and perform under pressure.
- Responsible for contacting patients for radiology scheduling and assisting the department in secretarial duties while remaining HIPAA compliant at all times.
- Consistently productive and volunteers to take on additional work when finished with assigned tasks.
- Rotates shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the department.
- Correctly documents required information in the electronic health systems (EHR, RIS, etc.).
- Accurately obtain IV access and administration of contrast media and other medications as required.
- Demonstrates skills to provide care to patients of all ages.
- Transports patients when necessary.
- Guides students in specific clinical and didactic aspects of their education in a caring manner.
- Ensures equipment is clean, orderly, and ready for use; all safety/health regulations and procedures are met.
Pay Range: $22.69 – $32.89
