Our client is located in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, a popular region for its more mild weather compared to the other Arizona locations. Lakeside offers four seasons with clean crisp air, miles of trails through the world's largest Ponderosa Pine Forest, and over 200 streams and lakes. The natural playground provides endless opportunities for all of your favorite outdoor activities, from skiing to fishing to hiking. Practice Overview
Our client is a privately owned, AAHA accredited and Fear Free Certified practice offering top quality veterinary services to their patients in a professional atmosphere, prioritizing the human-animal bond. They believe their differentiator is their people as most of their team have been there for over five years. They keep it fun, caring, and supportive resulting in a no-drama workplace. Their clinic is equipped with seven exam rooms, treatment areas, in-house IDEXX laboratory, EMR, pre-surgical area, digital x-rays and dental radiography, surgery suite, brand-new ultrasound, and other equipment to ensure high quality of service. Their team strives to treat people and their pets with dignity and respect, which is evident by the way they interact with their clients and their pets, as well as with each other. They promote cooperation and a team-centered workplace, and they encourage continuing education and growth too.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of cases
- Perform wide range of services and surgeries
- Provide education to clients and staff on treatment plans
- Maintain and enhance our positive work environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Guide, utilize and mentor our incredible support staff
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Arizona
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Veterinarian preferred; open to new graduates
- Willing to work on-call until 10:00pm on a rotating schedule with at least four other Doctors
- Surgical and emergency experience is a plus
- Interest in continuous development with desire to mentor others is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
