As the VP, Health System Experience, you will own and drive the overall health and relationship strategy for the designated Shields partner account by partnering with existing Region leadership teams and cross functional support teams.
Responsibilities may include:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders within partner hospitals; main emphasis on VP level and higher up to C-suite (especially CEO, CFO, CPO positions)
- Leverage knowledge of customer's strategic goals and market standing to position Shields more broadly across the health system and move our relationship from that of a traditional vendor/supplier to that of a more trusted business advisor
- Demonstrate expertise in the healthcare industry to connect key partner strategies to our Shields value proposition
- Validate Shields partnerships with delivery confirmation of contractual expectations and commitments
- Lead partner relations activity by developing and maintaining account plans for designated partner accounts
- Communicate and collaborate across Shields Region teams and support functions to sustain and grow our Shields partnerships
- Leverage Salesforce.com (CRM tool) to track partner and account activity
- Develop strong Shields references for downstream positive impact for Business Development pipeline of new Shields's partnerships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience selling into health systems and/or hospitals at VP and/or C-suite level via previous experience in a Strategic Account Manager type of role
- Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to key partner decision makers
- Demonstrated experience with working with health system C-suite leaders
- Demonstrated experience in working across a matrixed organization that ensures alignment with key Regional leaders and other support functions
- Must be willing to travel to assigned partner accounts
- Optimal background may include time spent in Healthcare Consulting, Strategic Project Management, Business Development.
