QOROS Cardiovascular is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for a full-time opportunity located in Orlando, FL.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self and others.
- Provides physiological and hemodynamic monitoring during diagnostic catheterization procedures.
- Supports the Physician as a scrub assistant for cardiovascular procedures (Catheterizations, Loop Recorder Implants/Explants, Cardioversions, Peripherals).
- Able to perform the circulator role of pulling supplies needed during procedures. Provide conscious sedation as well as other medications ordered by Physician.
- Demonstrates the knowledge of aseptic technique.
- Locates, uses and troubleshoots complex technical equipment/instruments, and act as a resource for equipment operation and training.
- Understands application and technical aspects of all equipment and supplies used in all procedures.
- Pull sheaths and achieve hemostasis of a vessel post procedure.
- Maintains use of customer service skills in communication with all staff, visitors and co-workers.
- Maintains adequate inventory levels of supplies, equipment, resources tools and forms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum (2) years’ experience in Cardiac Catheterization lab is preferred with circulating, scrubbing and monitoring; 1 year experience may be considered.
- Experienced only. No new graduates.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- A graduate of an accredited school of:
- Invasive Cardiovascular Technology
- AS degree in Respiratory Therapy
- AS degree in Radiologic Technology or certificate of graduation from radiology technology program.
- The following licensure or certification is required depending on the corresponding education above:
- RCIS-- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification – any certification listed.
- RRT-- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- CRT-- Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Rad Tech-- Valid Florida state license renewed every two years required.
- AART-- American registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
