This is a plum job for a Speech Language Pathologist who wants to work one or two days a week in a multidisciplinary setting screening children under the age of three for speech and language delay. Consider this position if you are missing working with toddlers and their families. Aspire Speech & Learning Center serves on the Central Valley Regional Center Baby Clinic team.
Job Duties include:
- Performing the Cognitive and Language Screening portions of the Hawaii Early Learning Profile with young children who come in with their caregivers.
- Scoring the HELP to determine eligibility for Early Start services.
- Integrating results with nursing and social work staff at CVRC.
- Providing verbal reports and brief counseling to parents regarding concerns about their child's speech and language development.
Hours are 8:30-4:00 (roughly).
