Job Schedule: Full Time Standard Hours: 40 Job Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: Mon-Fri; every 3rd weekend
HEART RHYTHM SOLUTIONS is seeking an Electrophysiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work in an office and hospital setting and will be responsible for evaluation of new and established patients with various cardiac rhythm problems. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing and managing arrhythmia patients
- Pre-admission testing for cardiac EP procedures
- Cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) checks
- Remote monitoring for CIEDs
- Facilitating work up and therapeutic procedures including cardiac implanted electronic devices (pacemakers and implantable defibrillators) and catheter ablation procedures
- Initiate patient care meetings with the health care team to revise the plan of care as the patient’s condition warrants
- Participate in total quality management to positively affect patient and system outcomes to improve care
This opportunity will involve working in multiple locations throughout Broward and Dade Counties.
Schedule: Monday through Friday with call every third weekend ending with the following FRI OFF. Overnight call the week leading up to weekend call which involves fielding calls from service and hospital nursing staff.
Note: This position requires travel between hospitals in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Memorial Hospital System, Florida Medical Center, and Jackson North are the most common locations.

Qualifications
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in the state of Florida
- Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Cardiac device management experience highly preferred
