Trauma Critical Care Surgery, General Surgery and Teaching!
The Department of Surgery at Stamford Hospital seeks an experienced BC/BE fellowship trained trauma surgeon to join our Trauma Division. Join a collegial team of 5 surgeons seeking an additional provider due to Surgery Department growth. This position is 50% Trauma Surgery and 50% General Surgery and includes teaching surgery residents and medical students. We offer Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
As a Level II trauma center, Stamford Hospital currently has over 800 trauma admissions. The Hospital is a physician-led community academic medical center with comprehensive surgical services in all surgical subspecialties. The Department of Surgery has a free-standing surgical residency program and is affiliated with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Responsibilities include trauma care, surgical critical care, general surgery, acute care surgery and teaching surgery residents and students.
