Job Summary and Qualifications
The Chief Radiation Therapist will report to the Radiation Oncology Manager and will work as a clinical therapist 80% of the time. The Chief Radiation Therapist will be responsible for training, competency assessment and annual review of the radiation therapist staff. This position will also write and update policies and procedures for radiation oncology and be responsible for oversight of treatment machine maintenance.
What qualifications you will need:
- Associates Degree required, Bachelors preferred.
- Registered Radiation Therapist (ARRT) required.
- Minimum 4 years as a Radiation Therapist.
- 1 Year Management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of coding and billing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
