The role you’ll contribute:
Supports rehab therapy care delivery by preparing and assisting in treatment area, patients, equipment, and materials.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Anticipates needs and assists staff with patient care, treatment, and other tasks by correctly and promptly carrying out assigned activities/duties. Ensures patient and staff safety by recognizing situations which place patient or staff at risk and responds appropriately.
- Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Maintains safe and clean working environments, ensures supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained, while adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Performs therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Communicates appropriately and effectively with patients, family, and health care professionals within and across care settings and communities.
- Attends department meetings and education as required.
- As requested, performs clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms.
- Willingly adjusts and adapts to changes in workload by altering working hours to assist in other areas/centers/programs as approved and observed by supervisor/manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Grad or Equiv 0 years’ experience.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert.
