Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology or in the treatment of disease. Operates all the equipment utilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
- State Registered Radiologic Technician.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree.
