The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) applies advanced education and clinical competencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The NP/PA works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions. Prescribes medication, examines patients, diagnoses illnesses, and provides treatment. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two to five years directly applicable experience
- Successful completion of a nurse practitioner or physician assistant program with board certification
- Active, unrestricted nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in state of practice location (FL)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with all colleagues; fully engaged in the concept of “Integrated team-based care”
- Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting
- Superior patient/customer service
- Basic computer skills, including email and EMR
- Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of a collaborating physician/medical director
- This role is considered patient facing and is a part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
- Active and unrestricted DEA license
- Medicare Provider Number/Medicaid Provider Number
- Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients with understanding of Best Practice in coordinated care environment in a value-based relationship environment.
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $102,200 - $140,700 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
