For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants:

0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)
1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Conveniently located in beautiful downtown Brunswick, the Mid Coast Hospital Walk-In Clinic offers expert and urgent care for minor medical problems such as cuts, sprains, coughs, and infections, plus on-site diagnostic services, a co-located laboratory service center, and integration with primary care.

Mid Coast Hospital ACU is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Tech to join the digestive health team!

Mid Coast Hospital offers all the services you expect from a high-quality community health organization. Mid Coast Hospital provides Surgical Services, Maternity Care, and Behavioral Health services, 24-hour Emergency care, Intensive Care, Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology, rehabilitation and therapy, and an array of community health & wellness programs aimed at preventing and managing chronic diseases.

Position Summary: This position consists of 40 hours per week.

The Endoscopy Technician, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, assists the physician in the endoscopic examination and treatment of patients. He/she is expected to adhere to SGNA standards and demonstrate knowledge of equipment, instruments, and procedures pertinent to the Endoscopy Unit. The Gastroenterology Technician must have a sense of responsibility and a willingness to meet the required time assignments and workload.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: N/A

License/Certifications: BLS certification, CNA Certification, State of Maine

Experience: N/A

Competent organizational/interpersonal skills.

Competent clinical/technical skills.

Gastroenterology Technicians are strongly encouraged to complete the GI Associates Skill Validation test and achieve the title GI Technical Specialist.
