Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as a Hospital Lab Manager. This leadership role requires a candidate with a strong background in Medical Technology, exceptional managerial skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency within our hospital laboratory.
Responsibilities:

Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital laboratory.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee accurate and reliable test results.

Staff Supervision:
- Lead and mentor laboratory staff to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Equipment and Resource Management:
- Manage laboratory equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
- Optimize resource utilization to meet the demands of the hospital's diagnostic needs.

Quality Assurance:
- Establish and monitor quality assurance programs.
- Investigate and address any deviations or issues related to laboratory processes.

Certification and Compliance:
- Ensure all laboratory staff meets certification requirements.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and changes in regulations, implementing necessary updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a hospital laboratory setting.
- Completion of one year's training in an A.S.C.P. approved hospital school of Medical Technology.
- Must be eligible for certification in Medical Technology with a nationally recognized certification agency.
