Compensation: $62,000-$80,000 per year based on experience, plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus
Meridian Behavioral Health LLC is a leader in behavioral health care and addiction recovery services. As part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the Mental Health Professional provides one-on-one and group therapy for individuals with mental health diagnoses. Responsibilities include skills training through psycho-education and developing behavioral change plans for clients.
Job Duties:
- Assist primary health care providers in recognizing and treating mental disorders and psychosocial problems.
- Assess the clinical status of patients referred by primary care providers.
- Work with the primary care team to manage patients with chronic emotional and/or health problems.
- Assist in the detection of at-risk patients and develop preventive plans.
- Evaluate patient care plans with the primary care team.
- Teach patients, families, and staff about care and treatment enhancement techniques.
- Monitor the site’s behavioral health program and recommend improvements.
- Participate in meetings and quality improvement activities.
- Serve on committees as requested.
- Participate in peer evaluations.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field with at least 4000 hours of post-master's supervised experience in clinical services.
- Current state licensure as a LPCC, LP, or LMFT.
