Job Description
- Develop and streamline purchasing systems, procedures, and reporting tools (scorecards/dashboards) for all materials, creating management tools for efficiency.
- Implement and monitor purchasing cost analysis reporting to identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.
- Analyze forecasts and lead times to assess current and future material needs.
- Oversee purchase orders and requisitions through two Purchasing Coordinators to meet production, safety, and capital expenditure requirements.
- Collaborate with the purchasing board to drive improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain material inventories within optimal minimum/maximum levels to ensure production reliability.
- Work with Global Sourcing and R&D to establish strategic supplier relationships, negotiate competitive prices, and source materials for both current and new product needs.
- Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to develop cost analysis scenarios (ROI) in support of CAPEX initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management or finance.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to create cost-saving strategies and drive process improvements.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with experience in RFP processes and vendor negotiations. Oracle experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities, with a self-motivated approach in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
