X-ray technologist needed for a rapidly growing mobile x-ray company. We provide excellent diagnostic services for nursing homes, assisted living centers, detention centers, and private homes. A company car is provided!
Responsibilities:
- Performs radiological diagnostic exams with the comfort, safety and privacy of the patient being a top priority
- Positions and assists with transferring patients for x-ray exams
- Operates equipment as needed and ensures proper use of handling all equipment
- Provides radiation protection in accordance with NC radiation safety standards and ensures that individual rooms are sealed and properly prepared
- Practices good hand washing techniques and wears appropriate PPE when required
- Ensures proper paperwork (Dr. order/ facesheet) is turned into the call center in a timely manner
- Able to utilize cell phone, laptop and wifi devices
Qualifications:- Associate degree for Radiologic Technologist and ARRT registered
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have excellent organizational and time utilization skills
- Able to repeatedly load and unload the equipment (Approx. 40-50 lbs)
- Able to drive for long periods of time
