The Practicum Student Residency Program is designed for nursing students who have a strong interest in a specific specialty and want to pursue employment within that specialty. This program will involve working 1:1 with a JHH or JHBMC RN preceptor for a minimum of 120 hours to fulfill your school clinical requirement. Students will apply and interview for a practicum placement and New Grad RN position at the same time. If selected, they will be offered a Registered Nurse position upon the successful completion of the practicum hours.
