Children's Therapy Place is the only full-service outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in the Treasure Valley. Our clinics provide speech and language services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, mental health counseling, and behavioral and developmental support through our developmental disabilities agency.

ITP Occupational Therapy Responsibilities:
- Provide Occupational Therapy services to clients in accordance with Idaho Infant and Toddler Program procedures.
- Screen and perform regular evaluation of clients to plan, implement, and coordinate treatment plans, conduct specialized evaluations as indicated and adapt treatments to meet the needs and goals of clients and in accordance with physician orders.
- Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to family and other professionals.
- Develop treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short and long term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
- Coordinate treatment plans for clients and provide copies for family and other professionals.
- Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the Infant and Toddler IFSP treatment plan.
- Maintain documentation of clients’ assessments, treatment, follow-up, results, and discharge planning or termination of services.
- Instruct client and family in appropriate occupational therapy procedures or home program to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities, including recommending and obtaining appropriate equipment to improve clients’ occupational needs and instructing clients and family in use of adaptive equipment.
- Provide in-service education to the members of the client’s care team and education to the community.
- Record billable treatment times according to Children’s Therapy Place procedures and submit biweekly time sheets.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all Infection Control, Universal Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
- Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, residents, family members and facility personnel.
- Participate in client, family, and staff education.
- Attend in-service meetings and facility meetings as required.
- Adhere to company established confidentiality standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Project a positive and professional image at all times.

What you’ll bring:
- A Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- National Credentialing Board certification.
- Must be licensed in the state of Idaho.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members and other facility personnel.
- Report to work on time and coordinate schedule to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency during assigned work hours.
- Project a positive and professional image at all times.
- Must pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
