Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager or OB Manager

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational management functions including planning, organizing, strategizing, and leadership oversight across nursing units.
- Analyze operational information related to budgets, staffing, and department activities to develop and implement action plans based on trends.
- Maintain effective systems for managing and retrieving information to enhance operational efficiency across departments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate systems and processes that bolster overall system performance and quality improvement.
- Support clinical managers and staff, assisting in their continual clinical development, and ensuring consistent delivery of patient-centered care.
- Responsible for human resources functions including recruitment, selection, and retention of staff, minimizing turnover among effective employees.
- Prepare reports and assure departments are ready for accreditation surveys and inspections, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Manage budget allocations, monitoring variances to ensure financial objectives are met, and participate actively in department scorecard development.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Current RN License in Ohio.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Experience at a management or supervisory level within a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex operations effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task within a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
- Additional certifications relevant to Women's and Children's health services.
- Prior experience in similar managerial roles within top-tier healthcare facilities.
- Proven track record of implementing successful operation improvement strategies in clinical settings.
- Experience with HFAP and OOH accreditation processes.
