Join our team as the Charge Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a safe and effective person-centered approach care model on their assigned shift.

- Compensation: up to $46.20 per hour with experience.
Schedule:
Part Time: Day Shift 7:00AM - 3:30PM (16 hours per week)
Per Diem: Day Shift & Overnight Shift
How you will make an impact:
- Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach by supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
- Holding staff accountable for quality care and continual improvement of neighborhood processes/practices.
- Meeting regulatory requirements and nursing standards of practice.
- Providing staff with clear/consistent assignments of residents and duties while setting the tone for a productive and professional work environment.
- Working with the staffing office to provide adequate staff available for shift.
- Leading and directing the execution of care plans for the residents in their neighborhood through monitoring and partnership with RN, LPN, and care associates.
- Monitoring new staff complete orientation/onboarding requirements.
- Participating in performance improvement processes for the neighborhood.
- Proactively rounds with staff on neighborhood and identifies positive execution of duties as well as areas of opportunities.
- Collaborating with other departments (dining, general services, housekeeping, programming, social worker, etc.) in a professional manner to deliver safe, quality, and person-centered care.
- Collaborating with Clinical Manager and Staff Education & Training Coordinator in planning and evaluating staff education needs.
- Leading shift meetings to review new policies, processes, or standards.
What you will need:
- Must have an active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in continuing care or assisted living facility.
- CPR certification required.
- Experienced documenting in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English is required.
